A $22 million project is underway to renovate one of the largest gathering spaces in Rochester, Minnesota. The project includes the addition of an aquatic center, a nature play area, river access, basketball courts, and improved parking and shelters. As a designer, I was thrilled to create the main logo for the project and signage for each of the specific areas.
Alongside the Soldiers Field Revamp, another project called the BIG DIG was launched. This was a family-friendly activity that aimed to generate interest and engagement and also designs in the construction project. I created yard signs, T-shirts, and a photo op board. Although those things scared the heck out of me as a child-I always thought my head was going to get stuck!
